One child was killed and one injured in a fire in Surgut


In Surgut, as a result of a fire, one child was killed and one injured. This was announced on April 22 in the press service of the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug — Yugra.
As noted in the department, the message about the fire in the bathhouse in the Victoria cell was received at 4:28 (2:28 Moscow time).
"Two injured children were transferred to an ambulance. Unfortunately, doctors later pronounced one of the children dead," the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the electrical wiring was damaged as a result of the fire. Eight pieces of equipment and 26 people, including employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, were involved in extinguishing the fire. The cause of the fire is being determined.
Earlier, on April 20, it was reported that a fire broke out in a private house in Astrakhan, in which five children died. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters found the bodies of children aged from four to 11 years. The mother of the victims was not at home, the ministry said.
