A man died after an explosion of ammunition in the Voronezh region

In the village of Kalach in the Liskinsky district of the Voronezh Region, an ammunition belonging to a local resident detonated, as a result of the explosion, one person was killed and three injured. This was announced on April 21 in the press service of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.

It is specified that one minor was among the wounded.

"All the victims were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical care, but later one man died in the hospital," the ministry said in a statement posted on the VKontakte social network.

The SU IC has opened a criminal case on causing death by negligence, as well as on illegal possession of explosives. Investigators examined the scene, interviewed witnesses and continue to conduct an investigation to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
