Trump announced the requests of world leaders for the abolition of duties

World leaders and representatives of big business have asked the United States to lift trade duties on imports. This was announced on April 21 by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, on his Truth Social network.
"After our announcement, many world leaders and business leaders approached me with a request for tariff relief. It's nice to see that the world knows that we're serious, because that's who we are! They must correct the mistakes of decades of abuse, but it will not be easy for them," he wrote.
According to the American leader, the people of the United States must restore their country's wealth and create "reciprocity" in trade relations with other countries.
"But for those who want the easiest way: come to America and build in America!" he suggested.
On February 1, US President Donald Trump signed a decree imposing trade tariffs of 25% on goods from Canada, China and Mexico. At the same time, he promised to impose duties on goods from the EU. With this decision, Trump seeks to reduce the flow of the opioid fentanyl across the border, as well as the flow of migrants.
Chinese economist Andrew Leung, in turn, told Izvestia that the tariffs that Trump is imposing on imports from China and Mexico will lead to an increase in consumer prices in the United States itself.
