A Turkish parliamentary delegation has arrived in Moscow for talks. This was announced on Sunday, April 20, by the head of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Turkish Parliament, Fuat Oktay.

"We are in Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation, as the Commission on Foreign Affairs of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (Turkish Parliament. — Ed.), to conduct official contacts," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

In addition, Oktay expressed the hope that the negotiations would be fruitful and contribute to the future strengthening of bilateral relations between the countries.

As the parliamentarian pointed out, the delegations will discuss issues of regional and global events.

Earlier, on April 17, it was reported that representatives of the Turkish oil and gas company Botaş (Botash) held a high-level meeting with the leadership of the Russian energy corporation Gazprom in St. Petersburg.
