Vilfand predicted abnormal heat in Central Russia until Tuesday


Abnormally high temperatures for April will last in Central Russia until Tuesday, April 22. This was announced on Saturday, April 19, by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand.
"Until Tuesday inclusive. On Tuesday, there will be a slight decrease, but still very high temperatures, not 7-10 degrees above normal, but 5-6," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Vilfand added that starting from April 23, a decrease in temperature indicators will begin.
The forecaster also noted that abnormally warm weather with temperatures typical for June is expected only in the regions of the Central Federal District, including the Central Chernozem region. At the same time, a sharp drop in temperature of 10 degrees is forecast for St. Petersburg on April 20.
On the same day, the Hydrometeorological Center predicted warming to +25 degrees in Moscow. Partly cloudy weather is also expected, with occasional rain in some places. The atmospheric pressure will be 749 mmHg.
