WSJ named the largest donor to Trump's inauguration


One of the largest chicken producers in the United States, Pilgrim's Pride, donated $5 million to the inauguration of American President Donald Trump, which is a record amount. This was reported on Friday, April 19, by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), which reviewed the list of donors.
According to the publication, Trump's inaugural committee has raised almost $250 million from the largest American business corporations. This amount exceeds the previous record of donations by two times, the authors of the material noted.
The following cryptocurrency companies also donated large amounts: Ripple (almost $5 million), Robinhood Markets ($2 million), Coinbase Inc. ($1 million).
Oil and gas giant Chevron also contributed $2 million, while Exxon Mobil, Occidental Petroleum and ConocoPhillips each allocated $1 million.
In addition, the inauguration was supported by representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.
Amazon, the developer of the ChatGPT service, McDonald's Corporation, Delta Air Lines, Nvidia technology company and Boeing aircraft concern each sent $1 million to Trump's inaugural committee.
Earlier, on April 11, it was reported that US government spending during Trump's second term increased by $154 billion compared to the same period in 2024 under the administration of former American President Joe Biden, despite the work of the Department of Public Administration Efficiency (DOGE).
