- The Ministry of Energy reminded the Russians about compensation for the cancelled trip

Against the background of new fuel oil emissions in the Black Sea, the Ministry of Economic Development reminded Russians of the possibility of refunding money for a failed vacation if they send a corresponding application before the start of the trip.
"Tourists are protected by the current legislation, namely the Law on Consumer Protection and the Law on Tourism. Travelers have the right to receive a refund of the money spent for a failed vacation by sending an appropriate application to the accommodation facility or the tour operator before the start of the trip," representatives of the department said in an interview with RBC on April 18.
At the same time, the Ministry of Energy emphasized that in Anapa you can spend your holidays not only on the beach. Spa complexes and sanatoriums, which are able to receive tourists even in conditions of closed beaches, may be of interest to Russians.
On March 12, new fuel oil emissions due to warming were detected on the Anapa coastline. It is noted that special services are monitoring the situation on the city's coastline. In addition, about 1,700 people are involved in the removal of contaminated sand and soil, including municipal teams, as well as emergency workers and volunteers.
On April 18, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, announced that the coastal areas of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol were safe for summer holidays, but the coastal areas of Anapa and Temryuksky district of Krasnodar Krai did not meet resort standards.
