Ukraine's accession to the European Union (EU) will result in the penetration of the Ukrainian mafia into Europe. This was announced by the Hungarian government on April 18.

In connection with the referendum on Ukraine's accession to the EU, the Hungarian authorities posted on the government portal a list of risks in various areas that may arise due to Kiev's hasty admission to the union.

"Joining the EU will open the way for the Ukrainian mafia to Europe and Hungary," reads one of the paragraphs.

According to the Hungarian government, even before the conflict began, Ukraine was one of the centers of drug trafficking and organized crime in Eastern Europe. Budapest also does not exclude the possibility of weapons transferred to Kiev for military operations falling into the hands of criminals.

In addition, it is noted that if Ukraine joins the EU, the community funds owed to Hungary will go to the Kiev regime. According to the Hungarian authorities, Brussels plans to take out a large joint loan, the funds of which will be spent on assistance to the Ukrainian state.

"Thus, Ukraine's membership in the EU will cost each Hungarian family hundreds of thousands of forints annually," the government stressed.

Earlier, on April 15, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that EU officials were trying to undermine the standard of living in his country, as well as its economy, with the help of Ukraine's European integration. He stressed that the EU authorities want to see a pro-Ukrainian government in Hungary, ready to fulfill their requests.
