Gunba approved the structure of the Government of Abkhazia

On April 18, President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba approved the structure of the Government of Abkhazia, there will be 15 ministries and five deputy prime ministers. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

According to the decree, Oleg Bartsits was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vladimir Anua was appointed head of the Ministry of Defense, and Robert Kiut, who was also appointed Deputy Prime Minister, will head the Interior Ministry. In addition to him, Taras Khagba, Varazdat Minosyan and Jansukh Nanba are among the deputy prime ministers.

After the change of government, the country will continue to strengthen relations with Russia.

Earlier, on April 3, Gunba appointed Vladimir Delba as the Prime Minister of the Republic. It was noted that the President accepted the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

On April 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Badra Gunba on assuming the post of head of Abkhazia. He called the peoples of Russia and Abkhazia fraternal and stressed that they share a common history.
