The expert spoke about the important nuances in preparing for the summer vacation

In order for the rest to be stress–free, it is better to start preparing in advance, at least 1.5-2 months in advance. Ekaterina Dolgikh, head of Avia marketing at the Tutu travel service, told Izvestia about how to prepare for a summer vacation.
"In 1.5–2 months, you will have time to find cheap tickets, find accommodation and quietly pack your suitcase. Summer destinations are popular, especially in July and August. Tickets and accommodation are sorted out quickly, and prices are rising like the temperature at resorts. Therefore, book your tickets two months before the start of the season. Look for flights with transfers: sometimes they help to save money," the expert said.
She reminded that during the trip you should not forget comfortable clothes, a swimsuit, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, charging, a power bank, headphones, and an adapter for local outlets. Be sure to take the documents and keep copies of them in your phone (passport, insurance, ticket/accommodation reservations) and cash, as not all Russian cards are accepted or there is an exchange.
"You should also have a travel first aid kit. Take proven medications: painkillers, antipyretics, something for allergies and for the stomach. Patches will also be useful if you suddenly rub your feet. If you take prescription drugs, take them with a reserve and store them in your carry—on luggage," she explained.
At home, according to Dolgikh, you should leave half a suitcase "and suddenly it will come in handy" and shoes for every day of vacation — one or two pairs are enough. And also, you should not take expensive equipment and jewelry on the road.
"A day before departure, set a reminder on your phone with a checklist: passport, tickets, money, charging. It works flawlessly, even if you plan at the last moment," the expert emphasized.
Earlier, on April 3, dermatocosmetologist Isita Khanalieva told Izvestia about the dangers of UV rays even in cloudy weather. UV rays increase the risk of skin cancer, including melanoma, and reduce the immune response. The expert noted that the choice of sunscreen is important and should be based on the skin type, as well as on the composition and texture of cosmetics. Different formats — foundation products, makeup bases, powders, creams, and sprays — can provide sun protection, but they have their own characteristics that should be considered.
