Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations did not allow the fire from the warehouse in Mytishchi to spread to nearby residential buildings. The video from the scene on Friday, April 18, is published by Izvestia.

The footage shows that the building was severely damaged as a result of the fire, including the materials inside.

"The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations had an important mission: do not let the fire spread, because there are residential buildings near the burning building," said Izvestia correspondent Yevgeny Naprienko.

A fire at a warehouse in Mytishchi on an area of 1.8 thousand square meters became known earlier that day. 54 employees and 17 pieces of equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation are working on site.
