Food industry enterprises in Moscow this year produced more than 4.5 million cakes and cupcakes with a total weight of about 2 thousand tons by Easter. This was announced on Thursday, April 17, by Anatoly Garbuzov, head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

According to him, the capital traditionally remains one of the largest producers of bakery and confectionery products in Russia. About 120 enterprises of the industry work in the city, employing over 18 thousand people, writes RT.
