Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree awarding the medal "For Works in Culture and Art" to singer Tatiana Bulanova. The relevant decree was published on April 17 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"For services in the field of education and patriotic upbringing of young people who have shown high moral, moral and spiritual qualities in the performance of their civic duty, to award <...> Bulanova Tatiana Ivanovna," the message says.

The singer was born in St. Petersburg on March 6, 1969. In 2004, she became an Honored Artist of Russia, and is the recipient of many awards. Her repertoire includes over 300 songs, many of which are hits.

On the same day, Putin awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, IV degree, to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
