Sales of new motorcycles in Russia increased 1.5 times in a year

From January to March, 5,231 new motorcycles were sold in Russia, which is 48% more than in the first quarter of last year. This was reported on April 17 by the analytical agency Autostat.

According to analysts, positive dynamics in the primary motorcycle market has been observed for 25 months in a row, that is, for more than two years.

Regulmoto became the leader among brands in terms of motorcycle sales in the first quarter of this year with an indicator of 909 units (+57%). It is followed by Racer (376 units; +15%), Motoland (362 units; +75%), Kayo (351 units; +85%) and Voge (342 units; +22%). Other brands did not exceed the mark of 300 units sold.

In the model rating, the most popular bike was the newcomer to the market, the Motoland XF300. The top five bestsellers were rounded out by Racer RC300, Regulmoto Sport, Ataki Carrera and Zontes ZT350-T.

The peak of interest in used motorcycles occurs in late spring and early summer. For example, in 2023, their popularity peaked in May.
