Abnormally hot weather is forecast in Moscow from April 18 to 22. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the capital warned about this on Thursday, April 17.

"In the period from April 18 to April 22, 2025, abnormally hot weather is expected in Moscow with an average daily air temperature above the climatic norm by 7 degrees or more," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message.

The ministry called on residents of the capital to wear clothes made of natural fabrics and hats, drink more water and, if possible, stay in the shade.

On the same day, the Hydrometeorological Center predicted light rain and up to +18 degrees in Moscow on April 17. At night, the thermometer will drop to +9. South-westerly and southerly winds with a speed of 6-11 m/s are expected. The atmospheric pressure will be 755 mmHg.
