The average price of an electric car in Russia has been named

The average price of an electric car in Russia in the first quarter of 2025 was 6.7 million rubles. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on April 17.

They noted that users of the platform became 18.4% more interested in such machines.

Most of the users' attention was attracted by Ora brand electric cars (30.8% of the interest). The top five also included Zeekr (20.4%), Evolve (8.3%), Xiaomi (2.7%) and Avatr (2.3%). The most popular model was the Ora 03 hatchback with 30.2% of the interest, followed by the Zeekr 001, Zeekr 009, Evolve i-PRO and Evolve i-Joy.

Zeekr 001 took the first place in terms of the number of ads among the models (22.7%). The remaining places in the top five were taken by Ora 03, Zeekr 009, Zeekr 7X and Evolve i-Joy. The most noticeable increase in the number of ads also occurred on Ora 03 and Evolve i-JOY — by 9.5 and 2 times, respectively.

Why has the purchasing activity of Russians decreased?

Earlier in the day, Alexander Nikonov, CEO of Avilon AG, said that by the end of 2025, the share of electric vehicles and hybrids in the Russian market could grow to 5%.

On April 15, it became known that according to the results of the first quarter of 2025, 1,854 electric vehicles were sold in Russia, which is 69% less than in the same period last year. In three months, fewer new electric vehicles were sold in the country than in the whole of March last year (2,499 units).
