- Politico found out about Trump's rage at the EU over Zelensky's support after a quarrel in the United States

US President Donald Trump was furious with the European Union (EU) because of the union's support for Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky after the conflict of heads of state in the White House. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on April 16.
"Trump, as they say, was annoyed by the events of that Sunday (February 27. — Ed.) — not only Zelensky's royal visit, but also a view of Europe," the article says.
According to the material, the European side "hugged" the President of Ukraine, supporting him after the conflict.
An unnamed British official noted that Trump's team "didn't like the way it looked." He suggested that Washington's reaction had prompted London to exert more pressure on Kiev so that Ukrainian representatives would sit down at the negotiating table in the near future.
According to Politico, the day after the conflict in the Oval Office, Zelensky "angered Trump again" with his 72-minute interview, in which he called the peace agreement "very far" from the current situation. It is noted that this became a "trigger" for the US president, who subsequently stopped military assistance to Ukraine.
During the meeting between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office of the White House on February 28, a verbal altercation took place. The US president accused the Ukrainian leader of disrespecting Washington. According to him, the head of the Kiev regime is "playing with the third world war" and is not ready to resolve the conflict.
