In the Odessa region, a man threatened employees of a shopping mall with a carbine


In the city of Izmail, Odessa region, a man threatened employees of the territorial recruitment center with a carbine (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) to help friends avoid mobilization. This was reported on April 14 in the regional department of the National police of Ukraine.
"A few days ago, two men were stopped for inspection at one of the checkpoints in the Safyanovo community by soldiers of the Izmail shopping mall. The latter did not provide their documents, but said that they would allegedly be brought by a friend, who was immediately called," the agency's website reported.
It is specified that after that, a man drove up to the place and began threatening the staff of the shopping mall with a carbine. He put his friends in a car and fled the scene.
The regional department of the national police of Ukraine reported that the threatening man was detained, his car, two firearms and 158 rounds of ammunition were seized. A criminal case has been opened against him. Two of his friends were transferred to the Shopping center.
Earlier, on April 5, in Odessa, a man with a hunting rifle tried to free his son from the shopping mall. It is unknown whether the man managed to secure his son's release, and two administrative protocols were drawn up against him.
