Moldovan citizen Yevgeny Kurdoglu, who was detained in Kerch, spoke about plans to blow up a water pumping station on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services. The video was published on April 14 by the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.

According to the defendant, he contacted a person from Ukraine, who suggested that he transfer data on the positions of Russian military equipment in the Crimea.

"The first task was to film the arrival from the Ukrainian side by rail ferry. After that, he called me and said that he needed to do a serious task and sent me the coordinates," the detainee said.

Kurdoglu received the coordinates, found a cache with an electric shield and an unknown mechanism, which he recognized as an explosive device. Later, the Ukrainian curator instructed him to take the bomb to the pumping station. He was also sent to the Simferopol railway station to film military equipment, where he was detained by FSB officers.

The detention of Kurdoglu, an agent of the Ukrainian special services, became known earlier that day. The defendant confessed and is cooperating with the investigation. The Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 30 ("Preparation for a crime and attempted crime"), Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code ("Terrorist act") and Part 3 of Article 222.1 ("Illegal acquisition, storage of explosives or explosive devices").
