Three people were killed and two injured in an accident in the Ivanovo region.

In the Ivanovo region, three adults were killed and two children were injured in an accident. This was announced on April 12 by the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

They noted that the collision of Renault Sandero and Chevrolet Niva cars occurred in the Savinsky district of the region.

"As a result of the accident, three people (adults) were killed, two people (children, one year old and 11 years old) were injured. The victims were hospitalized in a medical facility," the message says.

It is specified that five people and two pieces of equipment were involved from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to eliminate the consequences of the accident. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
