Ukrainian gunners open fire on their own colleagues. Vladislav Belopolsky, a prisoner of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), told about this on April 12.

The militant said that he had signed a contract with the Ukrainian Armed Forces voluntarily. He served in the air force, avoiding contact with the military enlistment office, could count on service in the rear, but ended up in the ground forces. As they explained to him, this was a necessary measure, since there were not enough people in the units on earth, and the military recruitment offices were inactive in recruiting recruits.

According to the documents, Belopolsky was listed as the shooter of one of the combat vehicles that the driver mechanics received, but in fact there was no Browning machine gun required by the state, and there was nothing to shoot with. So, the man left as a simple passenger.

"I understood that our artillery was working on us while we were driving. When we were sent to the unloading point, we were told that our group was sitting there, they said that there were civilians there who spoke Russian, as they called them, "waiting". And they said that if we see them, we should immediately open fire," he said.

The prisoner added that there were at least four people with alcohol addiction in his squad.

The day before, Ruslan Gorbenko, a prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that he was mobilized on his birthday and sent to the Skala battalion, from where soldiers are sent "to slaughter." In addition, he mentioned that women who have been released from prison serve in the ranks of the Ukrainian army, and they also participate in the assaults.
