Seven people were injured when a car hit pedestrians in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The driver of a foreign car ran over a group of pedestrians in the Balakhninsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, as a result of the accident, seven people were injured. This was reported on Saturday, April 12, by the Telegram channel of the Nizhny Novgorod police.

The accident occurred on Saturday night. According to preliminary data, the 23-year-old driver lost control and drove to the side of oncoming traffic, hitting five men and two women.

"Two people were released after receiving medical treatment, two were hospitalized, and three are undergoing a medical examination. All of them were taken to the hospital," the ministry said.
