Hyundai has patented a new crossover in Russia

The car in the patent sketches has an elongated silhouette with a large rear overhang and an unusual stand, pixel lighting technology with a prominent stripe along the edge of the hood and angular wheel arches.
The premiere of the Hyundai Ioniq 9 took place in November last year, the model became the flagship crossover of the Korean brand. The interior of the electric car has seats for six or seven people, depending on the modification. The top-end version of the model has two 214-horsepower electric motors and all-wheel drive, which accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. The longest-range modification is capable of driving 620 km without recharging.
It is noted that the appearance of a Hyundai patent in Russia may be part of the standard practice for protecting intellectual property in different regions of the world and does not mean that the company plans to launch sales of this model in the country.
On April 9, it was reported that in the first quarter of 2025, 8,700 Solaris vehicles were produced at the AGR Automobile Plant (formerly owned by Hyundai) in St. Petersburg. The cars of this brand are renamed Hyundai and Kia and are produced in full cycle mode.
