Five people died in an accident with a KAMAZ truck in Yakutia

In Yakutia, near the town of Neryungri, an accident occurred with a Toyota Prius passenger car and a KamAZ truck, killing five people. This was announced on April 11 in the main directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

"The 112 system received information about an accident 5 km from the city of Aldan towards the city of Neryungri. <...> It has been established that there was a head—on collision between Toyota Prius and KamAZ vehicles," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that all the victims were in a passenger car, and the truck driver was not injured.

Ambulance specialists, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation and the traffic police worked at the scene. The consequences of the accident have been eliminated, there are no traffic restrictions on the road.
