In Dagestan, the owner of a shopping center was detained in connection with a shootout during which one person was killed and two injured. This was announced on April 8 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the republic.

"On suspicion of committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 ("Attempted murder of two or more persons"), part 1 of Article 105 ("Murder"), part 1 of Article 222 ("Illegal acquisition, storage, carrying of weapons") of the Criminal Code The Russian Federation has detained the owner of this shopping center," the department's Telegram channel reported.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Dagestan clarified that the suspect had been interrogated, and investigators were preparing a motion to impose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
