On Begovaya Street in Chita, several buildings and dry grass caught fire, firefighters managed to eliminate the open gorenje. This was announced on April 8 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"The preliminary fire area is 1.8 thousand square meters. m. Extinguishing is complicated by strong winds," the department's Telegram channel says.

Currently, 60 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and 12 pieces of equipment are working at the site.
