The average price of a new car in the first quarter of 2025 was 2.96 million rubles. Compared to the same period last year, Moskvich (-14.7%) and Omoda (-4%) cars lost the most significantly in price among the brands. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on April 7.

Three of the most popular models among users of the platform have fallen in price by more than 10%. The price of Moskvich 3 decreased the most — by 18.4% (1.77 million rubles). The average price of the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro decreased by 13.8% (2.1 million rubles), and Lada Largus — by 12.4% (1.73 million rubles). Two more models fell in price by slightly less than 4%: Omoda C5 (-3.9%; 2.83 million rubles) and Jetour Dashing (-3.8%; 2.84 million rubles).

The average price of a used car in Russia was 845 thousand rubles. Hyundai (-8%) and Kia (-7.1%) became noticeably more affordable among the brands.

The prices of five popular models on the secondary market have also decreased significantly. The purchase of Hyundai Solaris turned out to be the most profitable compared to the previous year: it fell in price by 8.8%, to 980 thousand rubles. Toyota Camry (6.2%; 2.15 million rubles) and Lada Kalina (6.2%; 300 thousand rubles), as well as Ford Focus (-4.2%; 625 thousand rubles) and Lada Granta (-3.1%; 635 thousand rubles) became more affordable.

Earlier that day, it was reported that original spare parts for passenger cars of the mass price segment of foreign brands, not counting Chinese ones, fell in price in Russia by 1.2% in a month. So, if in February 2025 the average price for spare parts was 100.3 thousand rubles, then by the end of March it decreased to 99.1 thousand rubles.
