- A captured Ukrainian militant spoke about the mobilization of people over the age of 50

Employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCCs, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) mobilize people over the age of 50 and men with health problems. Ruslan Meleshchenko, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), told about this on April 7.
"The TCC also catches [older people] over 40-50 years old. <...> No commission, no training– nothing," Meleshchenko said in a video posted by the Russian Defense Ministry.
He noted that there are many elderly people in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and a large number of militants of the Kiev regime are injured or captured. The soldier also spoke about the low morale in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, saying that there was a "mess" and theft.
Meleshchenko added that the mobilization in Ukraine is carried out with numerous violations. For example, before he was sent to the front line, one doctor at the medical commission signed the documents for two, there was no thorough examination.
Earlier, on April 2, Dmitry Parkhomenko, a captured serviceman of the 32nd separate mechanized brigade, said that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was poorly planning the conduct of hostilities and was sending unprepared mobilized to the front line. According to the prisoner, fights, alcohol consumption and lack of discipline are common in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
