- The military told about the classified electronic warfare device "Volna-2" protecting the regions of the Russian Federation

Russian regions are protected from drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) thanks to the classified electronic warfare (EW) "Wave-2", which is responsible for GPS suppression. On April 6, servicemen of the Russian army told Izvestia about its main advantages.
"One of the main advantages of our system is its mobility and modularity, modular design. This implies on—site repairs of the product itself, as well as its modernization to meet the current requests of the Ministry of Defense," said a soldier with the call sign Skif.
The published footage recorded the work of electronic warfare, which is invisible from the outside. A Ukrainian drone over the Black Sea veers sharply off course and falls into the water.
The device itself looks like a small box. The development generates interference at the frequency of operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and intercepts signals, as a result of which drones stop obeying operators.
The development of the system began with a chamber production in a small room. Currently, there are more than 10 thousand devices operating in the Russian Federation. Russian military personnel are also satisfied with the functionality of the system. It is noted that there are no analogues of the development.
"The enemy uses civilian systems, civilian radio frequencies. The military had no right to use civilian frequencies, and civilians had no right to use military frequencies. The enemy is using all kinds of frequencies now. And if military frequencies are closed by the military, then we close the civilian ones," said a soldier of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) with the call sign Batya.
In addition, Russian designers have created a device that suppresses Starlink satellite signals and blinds NATO satellites. You can control the system using a mobile phone from anywhere in the world.
On March 6, a new installation of a small air defense system (PVO) was tested in the special military operation zone, which is designed to destroy small UAVs. The deputy commander of the 110th regiment of the 51st Donetsk Army with the call sign Shaman noted that the mounted machine gun was designed to destroy targets like the Baba Yagi hexacopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as large aircraft-type drones.
