One person was killed and two injured in a shootout in the parking lot of a shopping center in Makhachkala.

A criminal case has been opened in Dagestan after a shootout in the underground parking lot of the Ardar shopping center, during which one person was killed and two injured. This was announced on April 5 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the republic.

The incident occurred on the evening of April 4. According to the investigation, a conflict arose between the owner of the shopping center and the tenants over money.

"A conflict arose with a subsequent shootout, as a result of which one person from the tenants died on the spot, two more with various wounds were taken to the hospital, where they received medical care," the department's Telegram channel reported.

The mall owner fled the scene of the crime. Soon, the police found him and took him to a medical facility due to injuries. An investigation is underway. The criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 ("Attempted murder of two or more persons"), part 1 of Article 105 ("Murder") and part 1 of Article 222 ("Illegal acquisition, storage, carrying of weapons") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

On April 4, the Telegram channel Echo of Dagestan reported that a man was killed as a result of a shooting in Makhachkala in the evening. It was clarified that the conflict arose on domestic grounds. After that, one of the participants in the altercation opened fire on the opponent. The identity of the shooter was established on the same day.

Earlier, on April 2, a man opened fire and wounded two people near St. Petersburg. One of the victims fled the scene. Another man, who was wounded in the abdomen, was treated by the patrol before the arrival of paramedics by applying a bandage. He refused further hospitalization.
