A resident of Krasnoyarsk was injured after a pavilion collapsed on him under the pressure of gusts of hurricane wind. As reported on April 5 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The emergency occurred in the Railway area of the city. The victim was immediately taken to the hospital.

"It was reported that a pavilion collapsed on Severo-Yeniseiskaya Street due to a gust of wind, as a result of which a man was trapped under the rubble," the department's Telegram channel said.

Police officers are at the scene of the incident, and the circumstances of the incident will be determined. A hurricane-force wind is raging in Siberia on Saturday.

On the same day, the head of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov, reported that warm weather with squally winds of up to 30 m/s had set in the republic, which greatly complicated the fire situation and led to destruction in the region. Roofs of houses have been partially torn off by the wind in a number of settlements, and power outages are occurring due to overlapping and broken wires. A decision has been made to introduce a state of emergency in the Ust-Abakan region.
