In Khakassia, a squally wind tore off the roofs of houses and caused blackouts.

Warm weather with squally winds of up to 30 m/s was established in Khakassia, which greatly complicated the fire situation and led to destruction in the region. This was announced on April 5 by the head of the republic Valentin Konovalov.
"Roofs of houses have been partially torn off in a number of settlements, and power outages are occurring due to overlapping and broken wires. The situation is under close control of all operational services," Konovalov said on his Telegram channel.
He warned that hot weather and strong winds contribute to the very rapid spread of fire. In this regard, residents should strictly follow the rules of fire safety.
"Do not throw unopened matches and cigarette butts into the grass, do not burn garbage. If possible, stay at home today," the head of the republic wrote.
The situation is particularly difficult in the Ust-Abakan region, where a decision has been made to introduce a state of emergency (emergency). Residents there were also asked to be careful.
"There are reports from citizens and heads of village councils about damage to buildings, households, and property that have already been reported in different territories! <...> All damage will be fixed, and an assessment of the damage will be carried out after the hurricane subsides," Elena Egorova, the head of the district, said on her Telegram channel.
Also on April 5, it was reported that a forest fire occurred in the city of Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. It is specified that forest areas adjacent to the residential districts of Vostochny and South-Vostochny are on fire. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the forest fire center, volunteers and employees of the city administration are involved in extinguishing the fire.
