A passenger car collided with a freight train in the Altai Territory

In the Altai Territory, in the Leninsky district of Barnaul, a car collided with a freight train. This was announced on Saturday, April 5, by the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.
It is specified that the incident occurred on April 5 at about 07:00 (local time, 03:00 Moscow time) at a regulated railway crossing on non-public tracks.
"The traffic accident was preceded by the departure of the vehicle in front of the rolling stock," follows from the publication of the department in the Telegram channel.
They added that as a result of the accident, the cars did not derail, in addition, there were no delays in the movement of trains.
All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

Earlier, on April 4, it was reported that a repair train derailed in the afternoon on a section of the railway under construction in the settlement of Novofedorovskoye in New Moscow. Three wagons overturned, as a result of which three people were injured — all had fractures of body parts. One of the victims died.
