Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated a fire in the village of Rantsevo in the Tver region, where buildings were burning. This was reported on April 4 in the press service of the department.

"The Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations dropped 18 tons of water on 600 square meters, engulfed in fire. 57 employees and 21 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire," the Russian Emergencies Ministry's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that firefighters also protected neighboring houses and the forest from the fire. The cause of the fire is being established by the department's investigators.

On this day, ten buildings, including three residential buildings, caught fire in the village of Rantsevo in the Tver region. Due to the strong wind, the fire spread rapidly. The reasons and circumstances are being investigated.
