Death toll rises to 77 after Israeli bombing of Gaza

Almost 80 people have died in the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Al Jazeera on April 3.
"Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip killed several more people overnight after medical sources told Al Jazeera that at least 77 Palestinians had been killed in strikes since dawn on Wednesday," the broadcaster reported.
It is specified that this number includes 22 dead as a result of an Israeli strike on a hospital of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the north of the region.
On April 2, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the seizure of additional territory in the Gaza Strip. He noted that the Israeli military is trying to force Hamas to release the hostages by dividing the Gaza Strip. He clarified that the pressure will grow until the Palestinian movement returns the detained citizens.
The IDF resumed military operations against the Palestinian movement in Gaza on March 18. The press service of the Gaza Ministry of Health reported on March 28 that since then, more than 890 people have been killed and more than 1,980 injured as a result of renewed attacks on the Palestinian enclave.
