An unidentified man, allegedly armed with a traumatic pistol, opened fire and wounded two people near a shopping and entertainment complex in the city of Kolpino, a suburb of St. Petersburg. This was announced on April 2 by the Main Directorate of the Russian Guard for the North-Western Federal District.

A passerby reported that a group fight and shooting were taking place in the park area along with the Russian Guard.

"The Guards found two wounded men on the spot. <...>. The Guards detained him (who opened fire. — Ed.), using handcuffs. A traumatic pistol was allegedly seized," the department's Telegram channel says.

One of the victims fled the scene. Another man, who was wounded in the abdomen, was treated by the patrol before the arrival of paramedics by applying a bandage. He refused further hospitalization. The circumstances of the incident are being established.

On March 30, a traumatic pistol was fired in the center of Chelyabinsk on Kirovka pedestrian street as a result of a conflict between two companies. According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region, the conflict arose between drunk people, presumably. Traumatic weapons were used by one of the parties, in addition, pepper spray could have been used. One of the victims with a corneal burn was taken to a medical facility to provide the necessary assistance. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
