- The media reported on China's restriction of investments in the US economy due to Trump's duties

The Chinese authorities have restricted companies' investments in the US economy after the duties of the American leader Donald Trump. This was reported on April 2 by Bloomberg, citing sources.
"In recent weeks, several branches of China's main economic planning agency <...> have been instructed to postpone the registration and approval of companies wishing to invest in the United States," the material says.
The agency writes that the restrictions are being imposed against the backdrop of strained relations between the world's two largest economies, as Trump continues to raise monetary tariffs.
The Standard reported on March 31 that Japan, China and South Korea plan to work out a common response to Trump's trade duties. It was clarified that the states agreed to strengthen cooperation in the supply chain, as well as to intensify dialogue on export control issues.
On March 4, the American leader doubled import duties on goods from China from 10% to 20% and accused Beijing of failing to combat drug trafficking. According to him, the failure of the Chinese government to take measures to curb the steady influx of opioids into the United States poses an unusual threat.
