Kristina Valiullina, a doctor at the Ussuriysk Central City Hospital of Tatarstan, survived a clinical death in a bathyscaphe crash in Egypt. She shared the details of what happened in an interview with Izvestia on April 2.

"Probably, only the person who found himself in this terrible situation knows how I survived it. We are all very worried. Everyone has experienced things that you wouldn't wish on an enemy," the doctor said.

Her husband Ravil Valiullin, who worked as an anesthesiologist, died saving people. Their children aged 10 and 15 were injured in the accident.

"Thank you to the Egyptian doctors who saved me and provided adequate care to me and my children. Unfortunately, my husband died heroically helping people," Valiullina said.

According to the doctor, the death of her husband is a great tragedy for the family. She noted that he was "a wonderful man, father and husband."

The crash of a bathyscaphe with Russians on board off the coast of Hurghada became known on March 27. There were 45 Russian citizens on board, six of whom, including two children, died. The company that organized the tour, Sharm Hurghada Excursions, told Izvestia that the bathyscaphe had been in operation for about 10 years.
