In Yakutia, 13 people were injured in an accident involving a minibus and a passenger car on a section of the Vilyu federal highway. This was announced on April 2 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.
"As a result of the accident, 13 people, including 5 minors, applied to a medical facility with various injuries. After being examined by doctors, two children and three adults were hospitalized, the rest were prescribed outpatient treatment," the department said.
At the time of the collision, there were 11 people inside the minibus, including the driver. There were four people in the passenger car. It is specified that all of them were wearing seat belts.
"Upon the fact of a traffic accident, an investigator of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Mountainous region opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules and operation of vehicles, which negligently caused serious harm to human health")," the Interior Ministry said.
On March 18, 11 people were injured in an accident involving a bus and a truck in Yakutsk. It is specified that the accident occurred at the intersection of Bilibin and Uustaakh Izbekov streets. According to the Telegram channel of the Republican State Traffic Inspectorate, a passenger bus and a KamAZ truck collided there. Employees of the department and specialists of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the scene.
