Russians surveyed said that infidelity is the main reason for separation. 67% of men and 56% of women think so. At the same time, 52% of girls do not forgive toxic conflicts and emotional turmoil, and 30% of the stronger sex give up on relationships because of coldness in bed. This is stated in the results of a study of the Mamba dating service, which were reviewed by Izvestia on April 2.

"For women, similar views on life are important — 34% decide to break up due to differences in values and lack of communication (33%). Men are more pragmatic. They notice changes in their partner's appearance, suffer from boredom, and sometimes just get disappointed in their choice," the experts noted.

At the same time, disappearance without explanation emotionally traumatizes 42% of men and 51% of women. But a third of men and 42% of Russians have done this at least once.

In addition, girls struggle with prolonged breakups and new attempts to mend a broken heart. And representatives of the stronger sex cannot stand public scenes and the involvement of third parties in the process.

"Speaking of an ideal breakup, both men and women dream of one thing — a calm, frank conversation (about 49%). In second place is a civilized breakup without tears and accusations. 35% of men and 34% of women vote for this scenario. After parting, emotional support is important for the fair sex. And men value maintaining friendship with their ex more — 14% versus 7% for women," the study says.

After completing a relationship, half of women and 40% of men stop calling, texting, and liking photos of their former partner or partner. At the same time, representatives of the stronger sex are more actively looking for a replacement: 14% immediately start looking for a new pair. Only 11% of girls are like that. However, women install dating services faster after a breakup - 40% versus 37% for men.

Earlier, on December 17, 2024, it was reported that in 2025, the majority of Russians are determined to change their personal lives for the better and are ready to find a partner. Relationships have become a priority for 65% of women and 58% of men, according to the results of a study by the dating service Mamba.
