The death toll from the earthquake in Myanmar has exceeded 2.7 thousand.

The number of victims of the earthquake in Myanmar has reached 2,719. This was reported on April 1 by China News, citing China Central Television (CCTV).
It is also noted that more than 4,500 people were injured, and over 400 are considered missing.
At the same time, CCTV added that the death toll may increase.
On March 28, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 6.4 were recorded in the Asian republic. The epicenter of one of them was located 31 km northwest of the city of Mandalay.
The next day, more than 100 Russian rescuers arrived in Myanmar to provide assistance to the affected population. So, in the city of Mandalay, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, together with colleagues from China, pulled a woman who had been lying there for more than two days out of the rubble.
