The FSB detained two false employees in the DPR for extortion

Russian FSB officers in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) detained two men pretending to be security officers. This was announced on March 31 in the press service of the department.
"The Department of the Russian Federal Security Service for the DPR detained Donetsk residents posing as security officers and extorting money under threat of physical violence," the department said.
The scammers are currently detained. According to the FSB, the men confessed. One of the detainees apologized for being represented by a false employee of the security agencies.
Operational materials for making a procedural decision were transferred to the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the DPR.
The FSB press service recalled that employees never require citizens to carry out financial transactions.
On March 27, the FSB's Public Relations Center reported that the special services of Ukraine, under the cover of the American analytical organization RAND Corporation (recognized as undesirable in the Russian Federation), are trying to recruit agents for espionage in Russia. It was noted that when recruiting, the Ukrainian side gives preference to Russians associated with military service.
