Death toll from Bangkok earthquake rises to 18


The number of victims of the earthquake in Bangkok has increased to 18. This was reported on March 30 by The Bangkok Post newspaper.
It is specified that 78 people are considered missing.
According to the newspaper, search and rescue operations are continuing. Currently, all city electric train lines have resumed their work, with the exception of the MRT Pink Line.
On March 28, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 6.4 were recorded in Myanmar. The epicenter of one of them was located 31 km northwest of the city of Mandalay, and the second was 19 km south of the city of Sagaing. According to the latest data, the death toll has reached 1,700 people as a result of earthquakes in Myanmar, where the epicenter of the tremors is located. More than 3.4 thousand people were injured.
