Earlier on March 30, rescuers from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations began work to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake in Myanmar. An advanced group of 20 specialists was sent there by small aircraft.

Today, another earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred near the city of Mandalay. Currently, there is no information about the damage caused by them.

On March 28, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 6.4 were recorded in Myanmar. The epicenter of one of them was located 31 km northwest of the city of Mandalay, and the second was 19 km south of the city of Sagaing. The death toll has reached 1.7 thousand people, more than 3.4 thousand were injured, and 300 are missing.
