Two people were killed and three more injured in an accident in the Penza region.


In Gorodishchensky district of the Penza region, two people, including a teenager, were killed in an accident, another adult and two children were injured. This was announced on March 29 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
It was previously established that on March 29 at 19:45 Moscow time, on the 9th kilometer of the Gorodishche - Nikolsk – Nochka highway, a man born in 1989, who was driving a Kia Optima, tipped the vehicle into a ditch.
"As a result of the accident, the passengers of this car, a woman born in 1987 and a girl born in 2011, died on the spot from their injuries. The driver and two other passengers of this vehicle, a boy and a girl born in 2017, were injured and released after receiving medical attention," the department said in a Telegram channel.
The regional State Traffic Inspectorate added that police officers are working at the scene of the traffic accident.
The press service of the Sverdlovsk Region State Traffic Inspectorate reported on March 29 that as a result of a collision between two cars on the 57th kilometer of the Yekaterinburg - Rezh-Alapaevsk highway, a 22–year–old Volkswagen Polo driver was killed when he drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Toyota Auris car driven by a 40-year-old man. The driver of the Toyota Auris and his 13-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital with various injuries.
