In the north of Moscow, a five-year-old girl fell into a pond near a private household on Novoskhodnenskoe Highway and drowned. This was reported on March 29 in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the capital.

"Today, a five-year-old girl fell into a pond located near a private household on Novoskhodnenskoe highway. The minor died," the department said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that, according to preliminary data, the girl and her parents were visiting. When the adults left her unattended for a short time, she fell into a pond and could not get out of it on her own.

The department noted that the establishment of all circumstances and the conduct of a procedural check will be supervised by the Golovinsk interdistrict prosecutor's office.

On March 29, three people died in the Cherepovets district of the Vologda region after falling through the ice of Lake Kolodenskoe. The press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that four people came out onto the ice, one of whom was able to get out on his own.
