A passenger bus caught fire on Larina Street in Nizhny Novgorod, passengers were able to get out on their own. This was reported in the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

"The Prosecutor's Office of the Nizhny Novgorod region has taken control of establishing the circumstances of the incident with a passenger bus in Nizhny Novgorod. The prosecutor's office will assess the implementation of legislation on the provision of services, and if there are grounds, it will consider taking response measures," the department's Telegram channel reported.

The passengers evacuated on their own, no one was injured. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

On March 24, 21 cars burned down in a fire in a parking lot in Vladivostok. There were no fatalities or injuries.
