Snow is expected to appear in the European part of Russia in April, but it is unlikely during the May holidays. This was announced on March 29 by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand.

"Last year was not just a rare, unique event, there has never been a temporary snow cover on May 9 in the center of the European part of Russia. But there will definitely be more snow in April. In general, there is no April without snow at all, the most important thing is that there will be no stable snow, stable severe cold, only temporary," he told RIA Novosti.

Vilfand announced on March 26 that the air temperature in Moscow in the coming weekend, March 29 and 30, will exceed the norm by 5-6 degrees. He added that no significant precipitation is expected over the weekend.
