The victim in Hurghada expressed hope for Russia's help in saving his daughter.


Andrei Boldyrev, who was injured in Hurghada, expressed the hope that Russian specialists would help save his daughter after the crash of the bathyscaphe. He told Izvestia about this on March 28.
"My family was inside the bathyscaphe when the water started pouring in, and everyone started drowning. Miraculously, my wife and son survived. Our grandmother died, and our daughter is in a very serious condition," Boldyrev said.
According to the man, doctors are now fighting for the girl's life.
"We hope that Russian specialists will help save my daughter. We have already lost our grandmother," Boldyrev summed up.
The crash of a bathyscaphe with Russians on board off the coast of Hurghada in Egypt occurred the day before, on March 27. There were 45 Russian citizens on the ship. Six of them died, including two children. The company Sharm Hurghada Excursions, which organized the tour, told Izvestia that the bathyscaphe had been in operation for about 10 years.
Later, the Consulate General reported on the rescue of 38 Russians. Of these, 24 people were taken to hotels, the remaining 14 citizens were hospitalized.
