- The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund announced a queue of companies wishing to return to Russia

Foreign companies are lining up to return to Russia to resume trading activities on its territory. This was announced on March 28 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
"Global companies are lining up to return to Russia, which indicates the restoration of trust and new opportunities in one of the world's largest markets," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
This is how the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund commented on the possibility of resuming the work of South Korean brands in the Russian market. At the same time, Dmitriev clarified that in the case of a full-fledged return, new prospects for capital growth will open up for foreign companies.
Earlier in the day, The Korea Times newspaper reported that the Korean companies Hyundai, LG and Samsung are considering the possibility of returning to the Russian market. It is noted that HD Hyundai Electric subsidiaries Kia, Hyundai Mobis and Hyundai Steel have posted vacancies in Russia, which indicates a high chance of resuming operations.
